  • A PhD candidate and a lecturer at the Faculty of Law in Vilnius University, Lithuania, focusing on mandatory mediation and its relationship with the right to judicial protection
  • Served as a scientific expert to the working group on mediation at the Council of Europe, European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ), leading the drafting of the European Handbook for Mediation Law-making adopted by CEPEJ
  • Vice-President of Education, International with INADR, organizing international mediation and negotiation competitions for students all over the world along with other educational events promoting peace-making globally.

I was initially doubtful of using an online platform for a mediator training as I was not sure how we could practice the taught skills throughout the course in this manner. However, this was not the case at all, IMC’s international training worked so well!
